Sandy Sunday

So this Sunday I went to the beach with about 20 or so people, had tons of fun! A bunch of us played cricket, football, and this thing call touch wrestle or something, one of the kids taught it to us. Anyway, all in all it was very tiring, hot and lots of fun. I got to spend time with friends and family, which was really nice because usually Im either at a wedding or home doing nothing, so it was a nice change of scenery, and a nice change of faces. Not that I don't love see the usually faces, it's just nice to see different ones in a different setting. I really need to do to the beach more often, mainly cause I need a tan but oh well.
I think this blog has to be the most difficult thing ever! It is Sunday night at 11:53 pm and all I wanna do is sleep but I know if I don't get this done it will be late, which I don't want. I know what you're thinking, why did you leave it to the last minute, literally... and I do not have an answer for you. I usually leave them for Sunday night, its either cause I have other work to do or I just put it off. I also know that half of my class does it so I don't know if I should feel better about that or worse. Just to clarify things, the reason why I go on about literally nothing is because our blogs have to be 250 words, I know that doesn't seem long but my life if really not that exciting for 250 words. So I rant.
I love Mrs. Bs class, and I'm not just saying that to suck up, I'm saying it cause its true, it is one of my favorite classes and that is saying a lot cause I really don't like school, no more than the next person does. However, her class is really nice, it's relaxed but we are still learning. By now most of my class mates have just given up reading my blog, but there is always one who is consistent, Mrs. B. Even though it's kinda her job but it is still appreciated. Anyway, so that was my Sunday, and if you were wondering about Saturday, I did absolutely nothing. Literally nothing. I think I watched tv for a while and then my parents went out for dinner but they did bring me food back which was very nice. So yea, have fun reading!

Sorry I didn't take any pictures at the beach on Sunday.
This is what I have.
Although I could show you a little peek of a wedding I did.

Lazy Weekend

This Weekend was a lazy one for me and the mutts. Well, on Saturday I wasn't with them but all in all it was lazy.
So Saturday I had a little photoshoot with two best friends, it was kinda just for fun but it was so cute! I wish I had some pictures to show you but I don't right now, maybe next week. Anyway after the shoot I went to a friends house and we didn't do much. I taught her seven year old brother to swing and then I got sucked into pushing two more kids, so anyway after we went inside we started to make supper. The whole family hand made ravioli, it was so good!

Sunday was another lazy day, in the afternoon I spent all afternoon outside with all three mutts. It was so nice because the weather was actual cool, it wasn't blazing hot or even remotely warm. While I was outside I read my book for about two hours, and I loved it.
Anyway it was a really relaxed weekend which was nice. However, I didn't get to go to Pirates Week, but there is always next year. My weekend, although lazy, felt satisfying. I wish every weekend could be like this but sadly thats not life, life if unfair and mean. Only thing you can do is make the best out of every situation.
Till next time ;)

Holiday

So this weekend there was a holiday on Monday, which was awesome because there was no school, no stress, no anything... it was really relaxing.
Instead of stressing over essays or tests or scores I went to Camana Bay with my little sister (not by blood) and we watched a movie, Inferno, which was really good but after we sat down in rocking chairs for a couple hours and read our books.

Then after we couldn't sit anymore we got ice-cream and walked around Camana Bay, we went down to the little island and spent time on the hammock.

Until one of us got sand in out pants (not me) lol.
After we got the annoying sand out, we climbed the tower and took amazing shots of the sunset, it was so beautiful! It was a soft pink with a hint of purple and it lit up the sky.

We spent around 6 hours there which was super relaxing, and long over due.
However when I came home, I went back to reality which isn't so relaxing but thats life when you are a senior who is trying to please everyone because everyone expects a lot from that senior.
Anyway I'm kinda just typing random stuff now because my class' blogs can't be short or else we will lose marks.
Oh I almost forgot to tell you about the wedding I did over the weekend. So I think I did two, one was very simple because it was just the bride and groom. They have been together for 23 year and decided to finally tie the knot on the beach.
Fun fact: the groom was a Marine Officer, so he wore his uniform.

The other wedding was just gorgeous, I think it was mainly the bride and groom that made it so wonderful. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Mr. Grumpy

So Pepsi is notorious for being grumpy and lazy and everything in between. However, I still love all of him, even though I have to force him to stay and lay with me, but you're not really a dog lover if you haven't forced your dog at least once to love you 😂. Anyway, this isn't going to be a long post because I really want to show you a video I have taken of this little mutt.

This weekend it was just Pepsi at home all alone, as in he was the only who was a mutt at the house. Bailey and Turbo went to go sleepover at someone else's house, which is not my idea but my mom wanted to get them out of the house. Yet every week I want to take them to the beach... but no. Anyway, I only had my tiny puppy with me to hold and cuddle... and capture.

Fall Break

On Thursday night I got back from a tree day trip to New York and then a week before that I had to go to Canada, but that trip wasn't exactly planned. My Papa passed away, that is the reason I had to leave a week earlier than everyone. Not that anyone was wondering or anything but he was my last grandparent, I became very close to him in the past few years and it has not been easy but I'm getting through. Sorry to make this so down and sad but this what has been on my mind for the past month, and when he passed 2 weeks ago it hurt. However, I'm trying to keep up my spirits and everything so yea.

Anyway the week of our break I went to New York. It was a lovely trip, and so beautiful.

Here are some pictures:

Finding The Right Angle

Okay so basically this post is about my photography, I know I have been posting a lot about my dogs so I thought I would mix it up a bit, and also I ran out of dogs... lol.

I have been doing photography for almost a year, I honestly can't remember the date I started but it was early this year. Anyway I love it so much! I didn't realise how much I love photography until I started doing it.

So just recently I had a 2 wedding weekend, Friday and Saturday. They were both so beautiful, and amazing.

The one on Friday was only a small wedding with about 20 or so people and it was a beautiful blue theme, the decor was amazing and so were the couple. I would love to have a wedding like this.

The one on Saturday was also gorgeous, the theme was a navy blue and light pink color, it was also a bigger one than on Friday.

Okay so I know this is probably really boring or whatever but this is my life, well that and school. Almost every weekend I am with people who have come together, usually from all around the world to see 2 people show their love publicly. It really is a wonderful thing to see!

Well anyway, here are some pics of the Friday wedding:

Turbo

Turbo is about a 4 or 5 year old Caymanian mutt mix, he is the second born and the biggest but also the biggest baby! He is the sweetest dog ever but very protective, sometimes its funny but my mom gets so mad when I laugh when he's doing something bad, lol.
So if you want to be all technical, Turbo is legally my brothers dog because he signed when we adopted him. However, if you ask me I would say he is my dog. I am the one who feeds, walks, and takes care of him. Just recently there was a thunderstorm really close to our house and he came to my room and curled up next to me, I should add that Turbo is terrified of thunder, he shivers whenever he hears it.
So as I was saying before about how Turbo is protective, he tends to snap at people who come into my room or who hug my mom. He also doesn't like little kids. So I play this game with Turbo, well I don't really know if you call it a game, but anyway what I do is I run up to my mom and hug her. Meanwhile, Turbo is chasing me and when I reach my mom he tries to bite me! Don't worry he never actually hurts me but this is what I mean by protective!
Anyway, Turbo is an amazing dog that I love so much. I really couldn't survive without him or the other two!

Pepsi

So originally I was going to this post on my photography but I thought why not do all of my dogs for each blog. So this week I am doing Pepsi.

Pepsi is my first dog, even though my house has always had dogs. Pepsi was mine, he is an 8 year old shitzu. He is the most spoiled and grumpy dog I have ever met but he's my baby!

I have had him for a very long time and I can still remember the first day he came home. The first day I had him or I should say night, his name was Romeo, that was the name he was given at birth. However, I wanted to change it, it took me ages to think of a name and me being an 8 year old girl thought of 'Snowball' and 'Snowflake'. I was so set on those two names but my family, of course, had different ideas for his name. The name 'Pepsi' came about because my dad was obsessed with the drink Pepsi, he would have a least one or two everyday (which he no longer does cause he figured out the hard was it was bad for his health). Anyway, all of my family said we should name him Pepsi because he has black and white fur. Now let me explain to you my families reasoning for this, the white fur represented the fizz on top of the drink when you just pour it out and the black represents the drink itself. Pepsi has way more white than black fur so I don't know how their logic works but it stuck. I basically had no say in his name even though he was my dog... lol.

I think the one thing that makes pepsi stand out from my other dogs is that he is the loudest snorer ever! On the flip side though, I am a heavy sleeper so I'm not woken up by it, whereas both my parents can't stand it, haha. I love cuddling with him so much even though he hates it, I make him cuddle anyway... or keep him captive, one and the same.

Anyway this is Pepsi, my 'first born' and I love him to death! Enjoy the pics!

Bailey

The story of how I got Bailey, my youngest dog. I am actually surprised I remembered how I first saw her and how I got her, because I have the worst memory ever!

Anyway, I was a normal Saturday in Cayman, blazing hot. I was in west bay with my mom and one of her friends, and I saw this tiny little white fluff ball for a dog. As usual I screamed and was all over her, but that's when I saw she was crawling with flees, the poor thing was the size of my hand and was being attacked by flees and ticks. I hate seeing any animal in that type of situation, so I went to the owner of the house she was at and asked who's she was. He said that it was his sons dog but at the time he was in jail so he was taking care of her. So I asked if it was okay I could take her and get her cleaned up because I was concerned about her health. He agreed, but along with Bailey there was another dog chained up on a tree in the yard, he was just a few days away from dying of starvation. So we asked to take him too, and he also agreed to that.
(When Bailey was still at the Humane Society)
We gathered both dogs and funny enough my moms friend had flee spray, so we sprayed both of them down before getting them in the car. I held Bailey in my hands wrapped in a towel, and the other puppy, Lucky, was in the seat next to me. We took both of them to the Humane Society because we couldn't take them ourselves. We couldn't take them because my house already had two dogs and I couldn't risk contaminating them with anything Bailey and Lucky had. Anyway we took them to the shelter and they accepted them. I told the lady to make sure no one takes the little white fluffy one, she chuckled and said okay. I went back the next week to ask about both dogs, the report was Bailey had ringworm so she had to stay in the shelter for six weeks! While Lucky was fine except he was starved and the lady told us if we didn't bring him in that day it was unlikely he would survive. I was relieved that both dogs were being taken care of and getting better. For the next six weeks I went to the Humane Society as much as I could, I visited both dogs when I went.
First day!
Although I wanted to take both of them home with me, I couldn't. So I had to choose and my mom said that we are not getting another big dog, and even thought lucky was 20 pounds he was only a few months old and they said he would get bigger. Whereas Bailey was tiny at only a couple months, they said she wouldn't get much bigger and I loved her so much. So six weeks later I went home with the most gorgeous dog ever!

The sad part was that the time she spent in the shelter was the exact time she needed to associate with other dogs and humans. So now she is very timid around new people but she has improved a lot in a year. I wouldn't trade her for anything!

Down to this day she would do anything for me and vice versa, and I think she is the only dog who really listens to me, lol.
First day home
After a couple of weeks at her new home.

About This Blog

So I started this blog for school, my english teacher thought it was a great idea for all her students to create a unique blog, even though there is no such thing anymore. Anything you can think of, there is a blog for it. She gave us all out own choice as to what it would be about, and as you can see my choice was photography and my dogs. These are two to things I love the most! I really want to go into a career about photography which is why I choice that and my dogs and probably the weirdest most troublemaking mutts you can think of. All three of them are very original and crazy, and I love every single one of them.

Just to tell you a little about my puppies (who aren't even puppies). Pepsi, is 8 years old Shih Tzu
and he is the most grumpiest dog ever! However he is my 'first born' and I love him to death.

Pepsi
My next dog is Turbo, who is a Cayman Mutt mix, he is about 4-5 years and the only reason I don't know his exact age is because we rescued him from the Humane Society and they didn't know his age, they guessed around 2 and we have had him for 2 years now so I am guessing around 4 or 5.

My last and most troubling dog is Bailey who is also a Cayman Mutt mix, she is almost 2 years old and she cause more trouble in one day than a 4 year old cause in a whole year, but I still love her.

Bailey
Here are two pictures from one of my latest shoots that I did with Rebecca Davidson (who is the most amazing photographer in my opinion). More information to come!
